I’m so excited to have had the chance to get on the podcast to chat with Dr. John Rusin and touch on some of the common myths surrounding females and fitness. One of the best parts of my job is having the opportunity to work with so many different people including both men and women, but one thing that doesn’t change much in my programming is the style of training. I get so many questions from women about how they should manipulate their male partner’s lifting program to suit themselves, whether they should be lifting higher reps as opposed to lower, etc. the list goes on. I hope in this podcast we were able to bust some of those myths and encourage women to lift heavy to build the body they want and to embrace their strength! To see more examples of my day to day training and workouts as well as answers to training questions please subscribe to my YouTube channel where I share all of my best tips and tricks for beginners as well as seasoned lifters!
